Frequently asked questions

Everything to know before scalp micropigmentation in Strasbourg. A question not listed here? Request a callback.

Is scalp micropigmentation painful?

The sensation is generally mild and well tolerated, similar to light tingling. Discomfort stays minimal and short-lived; a soothing cream can be used depending on sensitivity.

Does it look natural?

Yes. Each impact reproduces a follicle with variations in shade and distribution. Head-on or close up, the effect faithfully mimics closely shaved hair or restored density.

How many sessions are needed?

On average 2 to 3 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, to build density progressively, followed by an adjustment touch-up. The exact number depends on the area and the goal.

How long does the result last?

Pigments are bio-resorbable: the result lasts several years then fades slowly. A periodic maintenance session revives intensity without starting from scratch.

Is it compatible with a hair transplant?

Absolutely. Micropigmentation is often performed alongside a transplant to add density and camouflage donor scars (FUE or FUT).

Is there any social downtime?

No. There may be slight transient redness after a session, but you can resume your activities. A few precautions apply during healing (sun, swimming pool, intense sport).

Does it work for women?

Yes. In women, we visually densify the parting and the crown beneath the hair you keep, for a discreet, natural volume effect.

Are there any contraindications?

Some situations require prior advice: active skin diseases on the area, ongoing skin infection, unbalanced diabetes, healing disorders, pregnancy, immunodeficiency. The initial diagnosis rules them out.

How much does scalp micropigmentation cost in Strasbourg?

The price depends on the area and number of sessions: from around €350 for a localised area, up to €1,800–€3,000 for a full scalp. A free personalised quote is provided after diagnosis.

How does the first contact work?

You request a callback via the form by choosing a time slot. A practitioner calls you back for a first conversation, then arranges a no-obligation diagnosis appointment.
